Blackthorn and troll whisker, 9 inches, combustible
Sir Cadogan was a pure-blood wizard, husband of three witches and father to seventeen assorted sons and daughters.
Cadogan was born into a pure-blood wizarding family in the medieval ages, and at the age of eleven received his wand (blackthorn and troll whisker, nine inches long, and highly combustible.
He then began his time at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he was Sorted into Gryffindor House; he soon struck up a friendship with Slytherin student Merlin. Upon graduating, he was made a Knight of the Round Table by King Arthur through Merlin's friendship with the late king, although Cadogan was excluded from Muggle versions of the tale.
He married thrice, divorcing each time and having a total of seventeen known children.
Sir Cadogan died fighting the Wyvern of Wye; it had snapped his wand which, upon the wyvern's attempting to eat him, exploded. He was commemorated with a painting depicting he and his pony riding into battle, hung on the seventh floor of Hogwarts Castle.
Personality and traitsEdit
Cadogan was a peppery, hot-headed individual with a fierce temper, brave to the point of foolhardiness and determined to beat the enemy come what may. It was this personality that led some elderly witches and wizards to use the phrase "I'll take Cadogan's pony", meaning that they would salvage the best from a difficult situation.
