Rufus (son)

"The definitive work on the origins and history of Quidditch. Highly recommended."
—Scrimgeour's review of Quidditch Through the Ages[src]

Brutus Scrimgeour was a British pure-blood wizard, father to Rufus Scrimgeour and one of several prominent witches and wizards who gave reviews for Quidditch Through the Ages[1].

Behind the scenesEdit

  • The latest Scrimgeour could have been born in order to have written a book before Kennilworthy Whisp's Quidditch Through the Ages is 1935; the earliest is 1927. We also know that he died sometime in 1994, given how he had a portrait hung at Hogwarts in June of that year and only deceased witches and wizards have portraits.
