Bonfire Night
Event information

5 November[1]

British people celebrate the fact that Guy Fawkes didn't blow up their government[1]

Bonfire Night was an event held annually on 5 November by all British people to celebrate the fact that Guy Fawkes failed to blow up their government[1]. On Harry Potter Day, 1 November, 1981, wizardkind lost all regard for the Statute of Secrecy following the defeat of Lord Voldemort and the gold sparks being shot into the air were mistaken by reporter Jim McGuffin for early celebrations of Bonfire Night[1].
