Beedle was born in Yorkshire in the fifteenth century to two Muggles, whom he loved fondly. At some time in his life, he wrote a collection of stories, and bound them together in a volume he called The Tales of Beedle the Bard. Little else is known of Beedle's life.
Beedle had, as indicated by the only surviving woodcut of his times, an exceptionally luxuriant beard and had long hair and nose.
Personality and traitsEdit
Though little is known of Beedle's true personality, if his stories reflected his opinions anywhere close to accurately, then he despised Dark Magic, liked Muggles, whom he regarded as ignorant rather than malevolent, and believed that the worst excesses of wizardkind sprang from the human traits of cruelty and arrogance.
