The 1990 Quidditch World Cup was a wizarding sporting event occurring in August 1990[1]. The finalists of the 1990 World Cup were Canada and Scotland; the Canadian team won by thirty points after Scottish Seeker Hector Lamont failed to catch the Snitch, missing it by millimetres[1]. In a post-match interview, Hector blamed this loss on his father Stubby[1].
